Understanding the importance of stimulating babies and toddlers through planning appropriate activities and making toys and resources that encourage skills development in very young children.
An inspired and confident teacher able to implement stimulating learning programmes in a safe environment.
Certificate of implementation and workshop attendance enabling people to study further – Level 4, 5 and 6.

The future of South Africa rests in the hands of the new generation that is growing up around us right now. But what kind of future can we expect when the majority of children in disadvantaged communities do not have access to appropriate Early Childhood Development (ECD) initiatives?
Very few of these children have any chance of getting fully integrated into a formal schooling structure later on, let alone excel to the levels that is required to responsibly address the challenges of our society.
Masenze Ikusasa is a private organisation focused on bringing quality ECD skills to the caretakers of children in neglected communities. We do this through a powerful and practical training course that we have developed ourselves. We do not get financial support from the government and therefore rely on private companies and individuals to sponsor and donate. This has resulted in the direct benefit to 16500 children since 2007.
