What is the cost of the course?
At present it costs R2150 for 12 workshops. R850 of that is a non-refundable registration fee to be paid on registration.
How long is the course and when does it start?
The Course is a 7-month course consisting of 12 workshops. We meet every second Saturday. The course starts in mid February each year.
Do you give a certificate?
Yes. At the end of the course you are evaluated and if all required tasks are complete and you have implemented the new knowledge in your centre you will receive a certificate.
Are you accredited?
No, we are not accredited as this is a practical entry level course which allows you to go on and do accredited courses Level 4, 5 and 6 with other organisations. Some of these organisations recognise our certificate as an important stepping stone to doing their courses.
Where are your courses run?
We run courses in Alexandra at the Ikemeleng Scripture Union Centre corner of 8th Ave and Roosevelt St next to the Firestation. We have also partnered with Seeds of Africa who run Masenze’s courses in other areas:

Do you train Level 4 and 5?
No, we only train the Basic ECD Skills course similar to Levels 1, 2 and 3.
